AppBridge Documentation : Transformation Servers

Transformation Servers are servers with either the AppBridge Transformation Platform or AppBridge Transformation Node installed. Transformation Servers can be used in two ways:

  1. Action Node: A server that can run Actions. The AppBridge Transformation Platform can run Actions.
  2. Connection Node: A server that functions as a Connection gateway.

Node servers must be associated with the Platform before they can be used for transformation tasks. If you are not sure whether you need to configure Node servers, please consult the Installation - Preparation documentation.

Prerequisites

You must install the AppBridge Transformation Platform or AppBridge Transformation Node on any servers you wish to use:

Manage Transformation Servers

You can manage the Transformation Servers at any time from the Transformation Suite user interface:

  1. Sign into an authorized Transformation Suite administrator account.

  2. Click the Servers link in the pages navigation tabs.

Settings

Transformation Servers have the following configurable settings:

SettingDescription
Action LimitThe Action Limit is a setting that configures how many Actions can be executed simultaneously on the Transformation Server. Each Action run on a Transformation Server consumes a number equal to its Action Cost from the Action Limit. Transformation Servers will continue to accept additional Actions for execution if they have sufficient space to accommodate the Action Cost.

Caution: Increasing the Action Limit takes effect as soon as the setting input is no longer focused.
