Available Reports

The following reports can be generated for Microsoft Exchange Connections:

ReportDescription
Depth ReportIdentifies the deepest folders in the environment. Can be used to find folders that are too deep. Can be filtered by minimum and maximum depth.
Exchange Object TotalsProvides a detailed breakdown of all objects that exist within Exchange, organized by user.

 

Depth Report

This report provides information about:

  • The depth of each folder within the scanning scope

  • The exact location of each folder within Exchange

  • The strings required to easily map deeply nested folders to a specified location within an optimized folder hierarchy

Report fields

This report contains the following fields:

 

Field Name

Description

User

The name of each user account within the scanning scope

Depth

The folder depth of each specified location

ID

The hash value assigned to each object as a unique identifier and location marker

Title

The name of the specified folder

AppBridge Path

A string used by the AppBridge service to define locations with the source or target domain. This syntax is identical to that of strings used in location mappings, so the AppBridge path values can be extracted and used to create custom location mappings for migration

Exchange Mail Folders

The number of folders owned by each user

Exchange Mail Messages

The number of messages owned by each user

Exchange Contacts

The number of Exchange Contacts owned by each user

Exchange Contact Folders

The number of Exchange Contact Folders owned by each user

Total

The total number of Drive messages, folders, contacts and permissions for each user

Exchange Object Totals

This report provides information about:

  • The total number of objects within each user’s Exchange account

  • Each user’s Exchange content ownership and sharing structure

Best Practice: Identify power users with high content ownership and numbers of permissions and permission sets. Create mappings to balance the content ownership across the target domain or split power users into multiple bridges to increase migration performance.

The number of messages owned by each user

Exchange Calendars

The number of calendars owned by each user

Exchange Calendar Events

The number of calendar events owned by each user

Exchange Calendar Permissions

The number of sharing rights assigned to all objects within a user’s Exchange account. Used to determine power users and identify potential migration bottlenecks

Exchange Calendar Permission Set

The number of permission verification checks for Exchange objects

Exchange Contacts

The number of contacts owned by each user

Exchange Contact FoldersThe number of contact folders owned by each user
Exchange Tasks FoldersThe number of task folders owned by each user

Total

The total number of Drive messages, folders, calendars, calendar events, contacts, contact folders, task folders, and permissions for each user
