The AppBridge Document Data Provider is used to store large amounts of temporary data during migrations, including cached objects, object metadata, and anonymized analytics information.

The AppBridge Document Data Provider uses a proprietary FileSystem provider by default, but MongoDB is recommended to increase performance and allow the use of multiple transformation servers.

Supported document data providers:

MongoDB must be installed separately, and it replaces the default proprietary filesystem data provider for storage of temporary AppBridge migration data. MongoDB is much faster than the default FileSystem provider, and must be installed before multiple transformation servers can be used.

AppBridge FileSystem providerIncluded with the default installation of the AppBridge Transformation Platform, the AppBridge FileSystem Provider is only recommended for use in small migrations under 50GB.
