AppBridge Documentation : Connector Add-on - AODocs

The AODocs Connector Add-on works with the Google Service Account connection. When migrating to an AODocs connection from File System connections, you can select the Default settings template that requires the AODocs Add-on. Then, for Bridges using that template, you must target an AODocs storage account.

Tip

The AODocs Add-on requires a security code from AODocs and the email of an AODocs admin in the domain.

Folders either targeted at the Drive root (via the treeview or Location Mapping), will become either AODocs "Team Folders" or AODocs "Secured Folders," depending on the setting chosen in the Settings Template. The files will be migrated to the storage account's Drive, then imported into the library.

Note

Refer to the AODocs Add-on watch points prior to using this Add-on.

Here is the mapping table for SharePoint source object to the target objects in G Suite and AODocs:

Creating an AODocs Add-on

Follow the instructions for Creating a Connector Add-on to start the process of using an AODocs Add-on.

Associating the Add-on with a Connection

To use your Add-on with a Connection, follow the instructions for Associating an Add-on with a Connection. After the Add-on has been associated with a Connection, you can then use that Connection in a Bridge and the Add-on will be available.

Adding the Add-on to a Bridge

Once you've added an AODocs Add-on to a connection, using the Add-on is as simple as using the Connection as the target in a Bridge. Refer to the Bridges page for details about adding a Bridge.

Once the Add Bridge dialog appears, select your Connection with the AODocs Add-on as the Target Connection.

If you click the edit icon next to the Settings Template, you can further refine your settings for the AODocs Add-on. For example, you can map users, map locations, and choose what happens to the source permissions on the target.

Mapping to the target user's Drive account

To map the AODocs Target Connection to the Google Drive default storage account, use the Target Connection treeview in the Edit Bridge or Add Bridge dialog. In the screenshot below, the "Test User" account (which is the default Drive storage account) is being targeted, so that user's Drive folder is selected in the treeview. You can also target existing libraries by selecting the folder tied to the AODocs library under Drive in the tree, or simply by using location mapping to place the source folder underneath the existing library.
