The AppBridge Platform host settings control the communication between the Platform and the data providers, the communication between the Platform and the Nodes, and the hosting information for the Platform user interface.
If you are using either of the MySQL or MongoDB data providers, you must complete the following prerequisites prior to configuring the host settings:

To configure host settings, please sign into the installed AppBridge Transformation Suite.
Managing host settings
You can update the host settings at any time from the Platform user interface:
- Sign into an authorized Platform administrator account.
- Click the gear icon located at the top right of the navigation bar.
- Click the Host Settings field in the drop down menu.
The following host settings are available in the Platform:
|Use MySQL for relational data storage||Selects MySQL as the relational data storage provider|
|(MySQL) Host Name||The host name or IP address of the MySQL server. Set to localhost if MySQL is installed on the same server as the Platform|
|(MySQL) Port||The port that the MySQL server is listening on. Default is 3306|
|(MySQL) Username||The username of the MySQL admin user|
|(MySQL) Password||The password of the MySQL admin user|
|Use MongoDB for binary data storage||Selects MongoDB as the binary data storage provider|
|(MongoDB) Host Name||The host name or IP address of the MongoDB server. Set to localhost if MongoDB is installed on the same server as the Platform|
|(MongoDB) Port||The port that the MongoDB server is listening on. Default is 27017|
|(MongoDB) Username||The username of the MongoDB admin user|
|(MongoDB) Password||The password of the MongoDB admin user|
|(MongoDB) Use Kerberos Authentication||Selects Kerberos Authentication as the authentication provider for MongoDB. Default is false|
|External Address||The URL that the Platform user interface can be accessed from externally. Format is http://<platform ip or hostname>:<port>. This setting must be configured before Transformation Nodes can be associated with the platform|
